Four Bars

Another free form piece that maps my approach to making, Four Bars is a record of tuning in, saying yes and following what comes through. It’s about inhabiting the experience of having full signal as a woman, and especially as an artist. Channeling energy without fear, staying terrifyingly present and allowing whatever comes of it to take shape.

The temple at the top acts as a receiver, open to the messages that arrive before there is anything tangible to show for it. Source Code, my recurring pattern, holds the information, while rivers move across the body as life force, carrying that information into form.
