Seen

The sun’s rays are ancient by the time they cast light and shadow across our world, from our skin to wheat for bread. This piece imagines the same for the inner world - that the natural gifts we carry are ancient by the time they appear in our lives.

Seen reinterprets solar mythology as an act of inner seeing and understanding, recognising one’s own natural warmth as ancient and self-sustaining.

It features the protective symbol of the eye, an amulet of vision and power that understands that it’s safe to burn bright.

And still, even the sun must submit to the weather in the mighty kiln.
